I have been a stay-at-home-mum for 10 years - and I am also currently home-schooling our three oldest children. During this time, I have learned so many things. Not just about nappies and making baby porridge, but also on a deeper level - what is important for us as a family. I have realised that spending time together is a privilege, that I do not want to lose.

Wanting to work from home, I looked at my work experience up until I started having babies. Mind you, I started very late in this department and so, I have more than a decade of work experience to look at.

Having worked and trained in many different areas, I realised that I have extensive office work experience, that I can now use to help others with their projects.

My first language is Danish, but I lived and worked in the UK for eight years. In this time I learned English to the point that few knew I was not a native.

Educationally, my training has been in theater and how to build a good story. It sounds great, but at the time it was so theoretical and boring, that I never did quite finish my Bachelor's degree. I have taken the knowledge with me from those 2 1/2 years and can now see the benefits of theory. But it did quench my desire to work in a creative setting for several years.

My hobbies have always been creative. Film, theater, photography, writing, drawing, and painting have all been passions, that I haven't had much time for while working and later nursing babies.

Wanting to find a way to merge the three - work, stay at home, and being creative, I came up with this concept:

- Writing blogs about family life

- Writing e-books for families, and

- Offering my services to write, translate and proofread.
